Whiskey is one of the most popular alcoholic beverages in the world. It doesn’t matter what age you are or what area of the world you are in, you have probably consumed some. The alcohol is typically aged in wooden barrels or casts made of white oak. However, in the United States corn whiskey is not to be aged at all. There are hundreds of different types of this alcoholic drink, depending on what area of the world you are in. In America, you can see varieties like Bourbon, Rye and Blended. Irish blends are typically single malt and made of the pure pot method.

 

It is made is many areas of the world like Australia, America, Ireland, Welsh, Scotch, India and Germany, just to name a few. Each area of the world brings a different taste to the alcohol which is why there are many whiskey tasters and collectors out there. Some people even make their living by traveling all over the world to taste and test out new and old tastes so that the beverage can continue to stay popular and advance with new blends. However, this was one of the original forms of alcoholic drinks and it doesn’t seem to be going out of style at all. This beverage is typically older than any of its drinkers, unless of course it is a newly made blend.

 

For the popular Jack Daniels there are numerous types of drinks you can enjoy. Mix it with cola, grenadine, amaretto, melon drinks, or even other types of alcohol. The Jack Off is probably one of the most popular among the younger crowd and it is simply Jack, Cola and ice tea. Whatever your taste you can be sure to find a whiskey drink to satisfy your taste buds and alcohol needs.
