Cocktail parties are more about being unique and fun than about being different shades of gray. Tangelo juice is the new mixer to add some fun to your drab drink.

What Is Tangelo Juice?

Tangelo Juice is made from fruit that is also known as the honeyball. It is a citrus fruit that is a cross between a tangerine and either a grapefruit or a pomelo. They are much larger than your original tangerine, most being the size of an adult fist and capable of filling a glass instead of a shot glass, and are extremely juicy unlike it's counterparts. They are easier to peel than most citrus fruits and barely have any skin in leu of all the juice that is contained within. They appear different than oranges because they have a nipple on the top of the fruit that sets them apart. Also known as a Minneola, it was released in 1931 in Orlando. Because of its appearance it was nicknamed the honeybell. Because of its grapefruit component, there may be a drug interaction consideration, the same as you would have with grapefruit, so it is something to consider when consuming it.
