Grapefruit juice is the nectar extracted from grapefruits and has a sweet-sour taste depending on which kind of grapefruit is in question. This could be due to the fact that since this is a blend, it is difficult to cater to a market if the producers do not know which fruit’s taste should be dominant as personal preferences vary and the degree of bitterness or sweetness is difficult to gauge for a big market.
